PSP

I'm expecting SBS to do well this year with a 'feel goof factor' from the summer.
Coupled with lots of people who have held back on buying upgrades for a number of years I suspect exhibitors will pleased with the turnover.
The only thing that could really muck it up is the English September weather.

I wouldn't want to be selling new boats but everything else across the boating spectrum should do well.
NB As a consequence I would expect to see an increase in exhibitors at Excel in January although many punters will take some persuading to go.
My reason being that the number of stands has fallen below critical mass to permit like for like comparisons.

Is it not the PSP Southampton Boat Show ? I know we are supposed to use the sponsors but to call it PSP only is going a little too far ..

I'm happy to call it the 'Southampton Boat Show' or 'SBS'. After all the Olympics would otherwise be called The London Skoda McDonalds ... Olympics.
I appreciate that as an exhibitor you may be told otherwise.

cheapskate.... ;) well I suppose if you are off to the Med next year with your 50'ft beauty .... you need to save those pennies!! any closer to a purchase? or is that why you want to go to SIBS

Getting closer. Negotiating on one boat but we are still a fair distance apart but moving in the right direction. One or two more on the table but I need to have a 'vat chat' with a certain forumite about at least one of them. I'm pretty relaxed about the make/model as there are a few in the picture but so far all the boats are from the same manufacturer.

Sadly wont be a new purchase at SIBS, still going there just to dream I'm afraid (and maybe look at nab and tenders).
