In the process of fitting a new depth instrument I need to fit an Airmar P79 in-hull transducer to replace the existing after no doubt many hours of joy excavating through succcessive marine filler bodges to stop old one leaking. The issue is the Airmar is 10 cm wide and needs therefore to come back a bit in the space - it's pretty tight just behind the bulkhead to the chain locker. The Airmar speed/temp behind it is at least 1.3 m (0.6 recommended) from the front edge of the keel so don't have any problems on that front. just wondered if there could be signal/electrical interference between the two transducers
