Provisioning help required

I shall shortly be setting sail with Para, TCM & JohnM, meeting up with Tome & motley crew. What sort of provisions do you think are a "must have"? I was thinking of a few packs of dried soup, few mars bars couple of tins of beans and lots of beer. Will that be adequate?

I would personally advise against the beans.... they use up an awful lot of space.....

I have purchased a fishing line with something like a surfboard attached, mackeral lures and a bass attractor. The salesman assured me I'd have no problem feeding the 5000.

Durex thats what you need. Tins of beans take up too much space. Deacant them into condoms and you've a ready meal boil in the bag. Saves on washing up as you can boil them in the kettle while making tea. No plates, eat from the bag.
Also handy for storing water, blowing up for impromptu bouancy bags, even fenders if you get the heavy duty ones!
So there you have it, stock up on condoms.

You might want to consider something a little more haute cuisine one evening, so I'd suggest adding some cooking oil and flour, then you can prepare deep fried mars bars

So if condoms are so useful, I had better stock up.
Bearing in mind mine is generally boys only this should be safe.
However, should dearheart venture on board, can I rely on the forumites to explain the reson why condoms are present?

During a tour of the Argyll eateries well known to yotties (Galley of Lorne, Wide Mouth Frog, Cairndow etc.) it appears there is a new requisite for the menu.
Its something called "jus".
In my yoof we had gravy and in the seventies we even got round to having sauce with our tatties.
But "jus" must be the dogs' bo**ks, cos its doubled the price of the scoff.
I suggest you visit your victualler and order a few pints.
