Provisioning for Delivery Skipper?

I seem to recall, back in the 80's you used to be able to get uncooked croissants in in a kind of cardboard cylinder with tin top and bottom; break the lid off and the cardboard would tear away in a spiral, revealing three squares of puff pastry which could be rolled up to make three croissants which cooked in about ten minutes in the oven, I wonder if they're still available.

They were available into the 90's, easily found in big supermarkets (in the UK) - it was a disappointment when we could not find them in Oz. Still not available here, no idea about the UK, but ideal for a yacht (with a deep freeze). The part baked ones are fine, and the other breads of a similar style - you do need a big deep freeze if you carry any number (like a year's supply :) ). Muffins sound a good idea.
