Provision of a fixed windscreen for a yacht with spray hood

Can anyone please advise on the manufacturers of a fixed glass windsreen on a small yacht (27').I am about to renew the sprayhood but my wife has difficulty in seeing through the clear part of the spray hood ( although this part has been replaced recently). As I have sailed crewed on larger yachts with a fixed glass windscreen the visibility has been great, I was wondering if anyone can give advice on the suppliers and costs if they have made a similar modification themselves

I haven't done this myself but I think it's a great idea. I share the problem with seeing clearly through the window in a sprayhood. A lot of the scandinavian yachts have rigid winscrreens.

I have never sailed on a yacht with a fixed screen, but have the same problem with my sprayhood, which is in good condition. Can you really see well through a fixed screen? Don't you then need to fix windscreen wipers so you can see when it rains or when spray gets thrown up?

hi i have a fixed one did it myself went and got a speed boat screen .and set it up then put canvas top on works a treat. look in paper for second hand one wont cost as much as new one .
