I have an Raymarine autopilot, with a control unit that matches my ST60 units. It is mounted in the cockpit where, occassionally, crew members can lean against it and accidentally switch it from standby to auto. To prevent this happening I was looking to fit the equivalent of stainless steel webbing bridges over the unit to provide it with protection. Does anybody know where I can get such fittings where the internal dimensions are about 150 mm wide by about 50 mm deep? I have seen a simialr arrangement on a few yachts. I have been trawling through the chandleries but cannot find anything so large? Any ideas or suggestions?

Cheers

No chance of getting a more careful crew I suppose.......

Have had my own made up by a local S/Steel fabricator.
works out cheaper than you might expect, particularly if it is not urgent.
