Propeller anti-fouling

Have used Propshield with good effect. There is some growth but no barnacles, and the prop is very easy to clean, with bright metal still there. The results with lanolin were generally poor.

I think a lot also depends on where the boat is kept.

I thought Prop Shield was lanolin at least it smelt like it when I used it.
In my opinion, polish up prop and apply a lanolin type product, do not be tempted to antifoul it as i have done with mine.
 
As others have said, best way to keep the prop as free as possible is to use the boat regularly (not been easy this season!). I'm fortunate in that I'm a diver and I always take a look at the hull mid-season. I use a wire bush to give the prop a decent clean at the same time.
