What size shaft can i use on my seaworker22, I am fitting a 160hp engine with a 1.5:1 gearbox can I use the orignal 1 1/4" shaft?

That will also depend on max revs and on the material the shaft is made of.

If you google it there is some calcs you can use.

The likes of Sillette or T Norris will work it out for you; off the cuff 1.25" seems borderline for 160bhp but as noted it depends on the RPM.
