Wotcha,
Sorry to keep asking such basic questions but this is my first winters maintenance of my new ( to me ) boat.
She has Saildrive Volvo S120 with the standard aluminium prop., which I am trying to remove.
I have taken out the Allen keyed bolt that runs through the centre of the nub which I then expected to come off revealing a large nut which actually secures the propeller.
However with the bolt removed the nub seems to be as secure as ever despite a few scientific taps with the big hammer and a little prising with a chunky screwdriver.
Am I just being too gentle or is there something else ?
I thought it wise to seek your expert opinions before I really let loose and gave it some stick and clog.
Thanks in advance.

Err, that cone shaped jobby IS the prop nut. Stick a tommy bar through the two holes, and unscrew it anti clockwise.

Thanks chaps, I knew I could count on you.
Just as well I never gave it a proper wallop !
