Prop nuts thread direction

Hi,

Next week to get her ready for transport we've got to remove the props off my S42 that a fellow forumite has bought (I think you all know by now).

She's on TAMD75 s with shafts. For the life of me I can't remember if the threads for the prop nuts are both normal rotation or if they are handed to account for the counter rotation of the props.

Anyone know please ?

Hopefully the LH nut will have some notches on the corners of the flat sides

Exactly as P4Paul says - those marks in his picture are standard for many years on LH thread nuts. However, afaik there are plenty of cruising boats with r/h nuts on the starboard prop, and just a decent lockwasher. My boat has a r/h thread on the starboard shaft
