my starboard prop gland drips every 20seconds, what sort of a job is it to renew,( got a feeling i know the answer) 1987 princess35 with volvo,s. should i let it run,cos the auto bilge works well !

sounds about right to me they are meant to drip

as per previous post a drip like that is a good thing. changing the rope stuffing is easy if you have reasonable access. however to change all 3 layers of rope you need to be out of the water. I once in an emergency just changed the outermost two layers in the water but you need to be quick about it.
