Prop Balancing

I’ve managed to get my 2 blade folding prop off the shaft …. broke to puller, and have sent it into to a prop service agent. They are quoting to carry out a service and ‘static’ balancing.
Two questions :-
· Would it not be preferable to dynamic balance the prop much like a car wheel – if this is indeed possible ?
· What could one expect to pay for a service and balance ?
