Hi does anyone have and service manuals for a 2000 Zodiac projet 350?
I'm trying to get my boat sorted out and have no luck finding one. I'd also like to know if anyone has model number for engine? It's a two stroke 83hp yamaha 2 cyl.
Thanks
Pete

Re: Zodiac Projet manual

If you still have the manuals and can stomach another new guy asking for a copy I could really use anything I can get my hands on. I just purchased a projet 420 that needs engine work. I know its the Yamaha engine but would like the zodiac service manuals also. Thanks so much.

Hi, I am also searching for a manual for a zodiac projet 420 for my dad. I would appreciate it if anyone could forward the manual ..................... Cheers

?
in the post just above yours I have a link to the pdf file, just get it

BTW, would anyone have a proper yamaha service manual for these 2T 2cyl motors?
Again nothing online and the pdf doesn't go too much in depth

cheers

Hi
Haven’t read all the posts but likely one of a few engines used in these boats. Easily identified by a picture. If it’s the 800 engine it’s the same as the GP800R or 800. Easily identified by being a 2 cylinder and the power valves on the port side of it. These are 120hp. If it’s a 2 cylinder and doesn’t have power valves it’s likely the 700 series engine and less power.

Hello, my name is Helmut and I live as a German in Greece. I have an old zodiac projet 420 with 50 hp Yamaha. Unfortunately I don't have a manual. I would be happy if someone could send me an instruction manual. h.vollmannshauser@gmx.de The current problem is that water gets into the boat when the boat is standing. I suspect the turbine. It takes 36 hours and6 the engine compartment is full of water. It's a riddle. Greetings Helmut

Helmut,

doubt it's a 50hp for starters, even my 320 is is 70..
anyway, my post #48 above has the manual that this whole thread is about, pick it up!
re your Q, having taken most of mine apart, I'm pretty sure the manual wont be of much help...

First (easiest) check will be to examine the seal on the two hull bungs and make sure there's no leak from there. I ended up removing the stock ones and replacing them with the ones you find in every chandlery in Greece (slightly larger but fit slightly better) Fit them with screws and lots of sika 291.
Now if you're OK that these are properly sealed, go to the two others above that have the bungs in the footwell and which (in theory at least) empty the water that gathers after a rain or messy entry/exit to the rib. Mine were leaking seawater to the footwell (but engine/hull underneath was dry!)
then examine inside the engine bay for any leaking hoses from the engine/exhaust/etc. Problem is that the most logical candidate is the hose from the exhaust barel to the jet outlet area but that means removing tank (at least on mine).
Last (and hardest) option is to lift the rib, remove the engine and then remove the drivetrain underneath, as that's where the water must be coming in. Very much doubt it though tbh!

btw, where in GR are you based?
