I can imagine these boats didn’t cost that new, back in 1999. The chap has done a lovely job though and the boat deserves to be out in sunnier climes to get used to the max.

Re his motives, not sure but i wonder if this was the plan all along and his passion was in the doing it, rather than the owning and using it.

Either way, i wish him good luck with the sale.

What do you think it’s worth then ?
That’s a difficult boat to price. Super hawk is a cracking boat and the work they’ve done is absolute top draw….almost too good for that boat. Lovely as it is….it’s a weekender at best so £350k is an awful lot. Red was a strange colour direction too if seriously looking to sell. Very marmite.

My gut is that’s a 175k boat at best when the competition is sub 100k for a perfectly reasonable boat and only for a die hard enthusiast. As a demonstration of their work and abilities …..priceless

No chance .I am with PYB on this .
For that budget you can get a decent 40-50 ftr shafts multi cabin sports cruiser arguably better seakeeping 15-20;tons and obviously better balance with a more fwd machinery space = longer range , better living accommodation, larger envelopes / scope of sea state use age .
One more thing no outdrives .

Not necessarily the brand in PYB s and my pic .;) Plenty of choice out there .

I recall this restoration....didn’t he (or his mates) work for Sunseeker? Therefore he has possibly costed the boat out at Sunseeker labour costs? Just speculating

I would imagine the plan is to try and recoup all the resto cost plus a few quid in the bank. Now I admit Brabus like to make new sporty boats distinctive colours (black n red) then charge the earth so maybe some inspiration has come from that. Yes it's a top draw resto but it's strongly a 'marmite' boat of limited proportions and ultimately it is still a 1999 34ft sports boat of that era, though a very well transformed one. You really have to want it, and long term value is questionable if you do stump up the funds..

Not unattractive though and from the pics a cracking job has been done.

I thought he was happy with it as a keeper
That would be my way of looking at it. After making it run and look so good, I'd want to enjoy her. After all he'll know every inch of the boat and that's worth something when you're on your own boat.

Highly likely a lot of materials went through the business and the “lads “ at the factory did some of the movable stuff. Eg seats thrown into the works upholstery shop etc etc .Just saying .Big difference to Mr Googlers current modus operandi.
