Looks nice, I definitley think the Ities have got the design thing going ON after being in the doldrums boat wise for a while.

90's they were bland and uninspiring, but since 02 there have been some very interesting designs coming out of Italy.

Yes very nice the F45 below it looks good though although I thought it looked rather spectacular for a 45ft craft - until I read that it was 44.998 meters !!!!!!!!

Oh well back to the S41 dreams

i do not agree completely as I think Azimut have always been on the forefront of design and really made a revolution in the boats we see today built everywhere

such innovations which are standard today as frameless windows where seen in Azimut boats in 1991 in the shape of the Azimut 43 AZ which is still a nice design and most succesful
same goes for the opens, it was Pershing who started the integrated windshield and the style of hardtops we see today back in the begining of the 90s
I could go on with this but now I need a break... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I disn't say they lacked innovation.
I said they were bland

and uninspiring

In that their boats looked like everyone elses. Now, the Italians are back at the forfront of styled design which is where they should be.

Ferretti will always be bland it's there style a bit like a Mercedes

you can see there current range and see they still carry there blandness

still they where the 1st who started with the extended tender space integrated bathing platform in 1986 with the 49 Altura

find a picture of the Azimut 43 AZ from 1991 and see how still moden it looks

Oi, I saw that!

I prefer to call it stylishly understated rather than bland. Unlike the overtly fashionable styling of the likes of Azimut and Sunseeker which will look very dated in 10yrs time, Ferretti's styling won't date. In fact IMHO, some of their 10yr old + designs still look good today, 175 for example
