Been a bit busy lately, so here is an update, doubltess you all will be on the edge of your seats reading this, eager anticipation/baited breath...

Topsides have had their second coat of half and half, I now have to do a quick de-nib before saturday when they will have the third coat, this third coat will be thinned a little, the first two wernt. Then they will need a wet rub down with some 360 before 2 top coats.

The windows, the bloody windows, the three hundred screw holes that need repair are actually a little over 200 as the front window is ok and it was never 300 in the first place, anyway, all screw holes have got their epoxy plugs in, and one window I have chopped them off flat, only took about 10 mins to chop them off so will finishe that tomorrow, awaiting delivery of Arbokol 1000 for sealing in the perspex then its chocks away with fitting them.

The paint inside- I have now painted the ceiling in the cabin, does not look as good as it could but is passable, the carlins need thier final coat of varnish and then I can start putting it back togoether in there, in the cockpit, I have finished the topcoats so it time to start fitting bits on, still some varnish down to do around grab handles and decks but should not take to long, so all in all, no more fablon and looking good for 4th April Launch, TCM sez he is gonna put his 23 foot Leotard on its trailer and bring it along for launch day.

Pleased to hear youre making good progress, Ben. By the way, my breath isn't baited, it just smells that way. I'm about half-way through burning the paint off my topsides, a thankless and frankly poisonous job which I'm doing a few hours here and there on. Shaft, rudder removed, I needed to borrow a 10 ton hydraulic puller from the mechanic next door to get the prop off, baby's blanket doesn't come close to how well stuck it was, gave an allmighty bang when it finally let go. Still looking for a 1:1 ratio BW 5000 gearbox, no joy yet. I'll probably have to bite the bullet and get a new one.
