Not sure if should be on pracrical boat owner,but looking for advice on a Profurl R42 roller reefing system l've been given. The only problem is the bottom furler, which was removed from the foil profile with angle grinder and large hammer, and has been effectively destroyed. The other parts are usable and in a ok condition.
Profurl have told me this unit is no longer supported and no spares available.
My questions are, is it worth looking for a spare bottom furler on ebay, or has any one got one in a shed. Any value for furler bits on ebay i.e not a complete unit. Or is it scrap metal
