Yes, it is now visible to me. But I've got a feeling it may not be for everyone - is it by any chance a link to a freebie gif library that asks users not to cross-link?

Hey Ive at least got rid of the red cross now. The delete key on this keyboard really works well..
(Checked on the flood warning thread) and I guess this post too.

I've had a look and, as far as I can tell they have no restriction on access. They certainly seem to be encouraging people to use the things!

Funnily enough in the last half hour my picture has sometimes appeared on my own machine, sometimes it has been the red cross!

yours used to work for me, then it quit, so I right clicked on your red x and copied the address, then pasted it into the browser window and it showed on there. Then I came back to here, and now it shows again. I have done this in the past and it seems to refresh it.

Coz actually it doesn't suck it up, it tells your web browser where to go to suck it up.

And yes, in principle, there's no reason it shouldn't suck it up, hold it in storage, then blow it down to any computer that wants to look at one of your posts. Just that Kim'll Fixit hasn't set it up that way.
