YM's cover managed to get a flash on screen in tonight's first episode of this comedy/crime-drama. Showing was the cover and the "Confessional" page. But the only yacht that had a showing was a bit down-market...

Mike.

This is what we pay TV licences for. The BBC is a promotional vehicle for itself, the UK Government, celebs, big business etc etc.

Silly but fun, fab location and always good eye candy.

Yes, I realise it's just a bit of fluff and it's easy on the eye, but a couple of scenes last night jarred my credibility.
1/ A junior policeman glanced at a packet, knew it was cocaine and immediately recognised both sets of fingerprints on it.
2/ The inspector saw a bottle on the beach and this proved that a toy soldier must have been dropped by the wife and that she was the murderer.

You won't enjoy star wars then.......

One of my favourite programmes, and many naive people buy boats in that condition so all good. Try to remember watching isn't compulsory. Ah, now for some thread drift. PBO article on how to use a TV remote control.

Well yes, we could just turn it off, but then we would lose the opportunity of a good old whinge.:)
Half the fun of watching TV is picking holes in the plot or continuity.
I've been trying to understand some of the storeylines in Lewis. So far I believe that the old boy is trying to chat up the young girl but all she wants to do is flog him a fancy armchair.
