Problems with Bukh DV36 ignition panel

I have installed a new panel and wire loom on the engine. When I turn the ignition key, nothing happens. No lamps or alarm.

The engine starts and stops, but no warning lamps.

What could be the problem?

The most likely is that there is an earth return missing - that would stop everything on the panel working but leave the starter switch working. Do you have a circuit for the panel? There may be one in the manual.
