Problems at Boulters Lock

Considerable disruption this last weekend at Boulters due to a broken support rod on the upstream roadside gate. Divers went down on Saturday and have managed to isolate that gate with sluices closed so that they can operate on weir-side gate only which means only half rate filling, although lockie seemed to be coping quite well in spite of a queue.

Apparently it will take a day out of duty once they are ready to replace the broken gear.
