At 1900hrs approx tonight I heard a MayDay on the Orwell. It was very garbled on ch68. Something about the pilot being collapsed on the bridge. Harwich VTS and another boat replied but I was probably out of range. At 1955hrs I heard somebody say "Paul is OK, just a bit dazed and in the boat and we are taking him to the medic. That is the gist of what I heard by a foreign sounding voice saying there was no water and lots of other stuff I couldn't understand!
