Problem at Manningtree Moorings

i was working in manningtree this morning and wondered why alot of boats where out and then customer said they were cut loose last night probably by teenager`s
just hope they catch em as it could have been alot of sunk boats
just hope they weren`t damaged in the process

It seems to have been 31 boats, and a 'hot knife' was used to release them.

Do you know how many of those 31 boats were recovered? ... and were any damaged?

I believe they've all been recovered without reports of obvious damage, but some owners may live far away and haven't yet inspected their boats, and of course there's the possibility that boats on mooring lower down the river were hit..
