problem 2, no hot water

so my second issue is there is no hot water or water coming out of the taps,

I did all the normal tried all taps on boat, and nothing comes out, yes i have water in main tank, if i turn on the cold all works fine, but as i turn it from cold and using the mixer taps make it go towards hot it slows down and stops. if i turn on the hot on any tap nothing comes out, I have gone to the water heater its a Kuuma model 41111 and on the front there is the 2 pipes from and to the engine, a blue and red plastic pipe, a pressure release valve and a tap. I thought i would work my way through and would use process of elimination to work some bits out.
I turned off the water pump disconnected the red pipe which is the hot water out to the taps, i placed one end in a bucket and turned on the water pump expecting hot water or water to come out - nothing happened.
i turned off the pump and disconnected the cold/blue pipe which is cold in, and turned the pump on and water came out.

I thought an air lock or something and opened the tap to see if any water would go in and nothing happened.

so im at a lost as to why water is not going in, does anyone have any thoughts on what this could be or what i have to do. pic below

So at the hot water tank, pictured above, when you disconnect the blue pipe, and turn on your water pump, water comes out the blue pipe - is that correct? (just verifying)

Yes you are correct water comes out of the blue pipe under a good pressure.

Ok - and if you connect the blue pipe, but disconnect the red pipe, and turn on the water pump - nothing comes out of the tank fitting for the red pipe?

Gotcha. What happens if you disconnect both red and blue pipes? Does water come out of of the blue pipe fitting? (I can't see which fitting on the tank is the blue pipe in your photo, but I'm assuming it is below the red pipe).

Edit: by below, I don't mean directly below (that looks like a connection to the engine cooling circuit) I mean lower than the red pipe fitting)

Nothing, no water came out at all. the blue pipe has a push fit right angle that connects to the black pipe at bottom you can see the white of the ptfe tape. i took this off as well to check for a blockage on the in section

With both pipes removed, what happens if you blow on the red pipe fitting? Does air come out of the blue fitting or is it blocked?

if it's blocked, try opening the tap at the bottom of the tank, and repeating the test. What happens then?

i tried blowing in all directions, and sucking and dont think anything came out.

if it's blocked, try opening the tap at the bottom of the tank, and repeating the test. What happens then?

i had air coming out of the tap when i blew, do you think its a blockage and if i took a compressor down and blew it through it might clear it

You might find a one way valve on the feed to the hot tank from the cold supply that's seized not allowing cold in to be heated.

Sorry for delay, been at dinner. To prove Paul's theory (blockage on cold inlet), open the tap and try blowing in through the hot fitting - air should come out of the tap. Then close the tap, and test again. If blocked - then it has to be a blockage on the cold inlet.

its fixed, there is a one way valve on the cold inlet that had sort of rusted/seized, i made up an attachment and connected it to the pontoon hose pushed a screwdriver in one end and turned hose on and after a lot of pushing water came through, connected it back up and all worked. I did go into the shop to see if they had one and they didnt, the guy said not all heaters have this valve
