Thanks to everyone that posted useful internet sites for weather forcasts in response to my previous enquiry. Unfortunatly I fell at the first fence. At home using aol I receive the charts but the print command just prints the border and text around the border - no synoptic chart details. I tried again at work and illegally using my work computer for private use- slap wrist- I found that using Netscape Navigator the synoptic chart prints OK!! How can I get aol to do that?
I did wonder about using the cut and paste commands but even if it worked it would be tedious for a few days worth!
Just trying to be a good boy and attempting to document part of my passage planning!
Does anyone out there using aol know a solution.

I use AOL

I use the Met Off 3 day pressure animation.

Each 1 day page has a printable version. I open it and then "save as" to some file or other on my computer. I then open that file in Corel Draw.

Bit long winded - but it works for me.

this may be of limited use as i'm not using aol or netscape but this is how it works on internet explorer v 6.0:

when you have the weather page on the screen, right-click within the chart which is probably embedded within the page as a jpeg file. the menu that appears contains 'print...' which will print out the chart only.

if the weather service you are calling up won't let you do this, try <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.maalla.co.uk/uk-weather/syn.htm>http://www.maalla.co.uk/uk-weather/syn.htm</A>

i just printed off tomorrow's chart. it's going to be nice here but i wouldn't fancy being on the way to the azores right now!
