Hi I am considering to buy s Princess V65 Mk ll with the MAN 1360 HP engine. I was wondering if any one here had first hand experience with that particular boat ?

I would like to know how they do in rough weather ? And if they have quality issues ?

I am used to a 2001 Sunseeker Carmarqe 50 that I am very satisfied about unfortunatly it is a little to small.

Thanks in advance

Dan

A big improvement from the Mark. One which is a submarine i.e a very wet boat.

I think she is the best on the accommodation front, although Sunseeker 62/64 (62 a bit better then a 64 but has a lame exterior cockpit) do run a bit better, as does a Fairline 62/64, or an Azimut 62 S.
The nice think about the Azimut is that its aft deck still sits low, versus the Brits which all had a high cockpit deck.

These are a beautiful boat but in my quest to find a good one, i was just disappointed that they dont age well with often faded wood and/or milky lacquers plus the dreaded sagging headliners and blown wall coverings.
the large engine vents on the side (in black), were moulded substandard as they all blister too.
if you can find a good boat and stay on top of it then its a lovely thing indeed but i couldn’t and moved my search elsewhere.

Thank you very much for your answer it is very informative. I personally prefer Sunseeker as a brand unfortunately the accommodation in the V65 suit us way better than the one in the Sunseeker.
I will try the Princess later this month and I hope for really rough weather :)

Hi Parabolic,

Thank you very much for your comments. I will look carefully after the fails that you have mentioned. The boat I have found is as I see it in excellent condition but I will now look extra carefully after the problems that you have mentioned.

Especially the
large engine vents on the side I did not check that at all.
I Really appriciate your detailed comments :)
