I've just received the latest Princess sales newsletter, with artists impressions and layouts of this boat. I'm not really a hardtop fan, but I have to say it looks fab (as all Princess V boats do), and the layout also looks near perfect for this style of boat.
I can't post the layout pics unfortunately, as I only have them on paper, but the key thing is that the patio doors are much further forward than normal, so the outside area is much bigger, and has a full size permanent sunpad for several people, as well as a table and u-shaped seating for a good crowd. In the saloon is a single large seating area, which can be nice and loungey, cos there is a dining table for 6 on the lower level, so it doesn't need to double up. Also below, is a full beam mid cabin, front guest cabin, another guest twin (not bunks), and a single crew cabin. I can only see two shortcomings, other than those always associated with hardtops. First off there is no third heads, so two cabins have to share, which is slightly off the mark for a 62 footer. Second, because of the U-shaped seating in the cockpit, the port sidedeck can only be accessed from the bathing platform, or by walking round the front. I think Princess may take some criticism for this, but I don't see such a problem, especially for med use. The tender is in the garage anyway, so the bathing platform is clear to walk round to put fenders out when coming in a marina, and you can always kneel on the seating then swing your leg over if you can't be bothered to walk round.
I'm looking forward to seeing this boat at SIBS, hope it lives up to expectations
