The Canvas bit is a bit of a negative in norther climes. Have to choose between a 2 cabin hardtop or a 3 cabin soft top unfortunately.

I am worried about the engine access around the D12's opposed to the T52's engine room thats seems good to work in.

There's a two cabin version of the V55? I didn't know that. Got a link?
 
Sorry Jimmy it was more a general statement not related to the V55. Wondering wether I would skip the 3rd cabin en let visitors bunk in the saloon and look for a 2 cabin hardtop instead. Too much choice :)
