Princess V42 Outdrive Anodes

Anyone any ideas as to why the Ring Anodes on a Princess V42 only last 3 months? Boat is moored in Torquay Marina. Any ideas as to how to slow it down? Shore Power is not left connected. Original VP Anodes used.

Firstly, how long do other V42's anodes last in that area?
Secondly, consider stray current - leaky d.c. current, possibly from the bilge pump or within the engine?
Thirdly, are you moored next to a large metal boat/structure? any chance they may use impressed current system?
Could be a slow process to find the answer... good luck
