Princess V40 MkI vs Airon marine 425

Here we are .Looks a good shape nice V at the stern and sharp in the middle where the engines are sat with a fine entry up front .
Nice wide chine flats at the rear for lift so it should run flat without much tab .

Flip side is narrow beam on this one .But if you value seakeeping, keeping going fast when it blows up then this is better than the sterndrive VP options@ this 11/12 M point .

PYB will along with his vast experience + knowledge soon .

Thank you Porto!

I think Raffaelli's hulls were built by DellaPasqua and are consider quite rigid.

The only video I could find of a Shamal sailing, had a peculiar bouncy attitude. Check at 1:22.

Nice pics! Impressive hull!
I don't mind the narrow beam at all.
Sometimes 20cm is just enough to squeeze or not in the last available place in a Greek port - and the sun is already down!

Just goes across the wake @1:51 . that’s the only guide . Seems to slice through FWIW .

There is a DellaPasque dealer in our marina , in the shop window as well as the typical brokerage pics he has a cross section core bores from the base of the hulls and some 30cm x 30 cm demo sections .
Its in Italian but I get the gist = solid hull bottoms .Theses are 3 cm thick solid resin .No cores , no grids , no balsa , no foam .

Other dealers of other marques put a screen and run vids of folks opening huge galley fridges :D , or using a prawn griddle :Dor place a modal in the shop window . The build side is hidden .

The coffee shop where we have breakfast is next door so I have spent hrs staring at theses x sections . :) Working out the message they are trying to say .

Coincidentally a Italian neighbour had a Della Pasqua fly 48 and traded last winter to a Raffaelli 58 HT open .
Fits the same berth .He comes across as a guy who knows his mobos onions .
