Princess P32/33 windows

We are replacing the headlinings around the windows on a P33. The window frames are aluminium, with mitred corners.
Each "cap" has two short grub screws at both ends. The question is whether this "cap" comes off the frame, or whether the whole window frame has to comes out to get to the headlining material which is underneath. Anybody done it?

Id say that the whole frame has to come out as per other princess boats ive owned and looked at.

My old dads 33 is in Chichester somewhere, is that you?

My P33 is in Gosport on stilts having glassfibre worm treatment.

Had a fair bit of my P35 redone. I see no reason for taking the windows out. Just go round them as you would with wall paper. A neat bit of white sylicone did the job round my wardrobes.
