Well done mate! have you done any research as to where to moor/store her while the renovation goes on, providing she passes survey?
Would be great to have anti-fouling etc., done by someone before sea trial

the idea is to do
a small part where she is now, Ansio or Rome, and leave her there till summer,
then during summer holliday sailing her to her new home, still to be defined but I hope somewhere near Marseille.
we could travel along Corsica or even Sardegna
and miss Croatia one year![]()
Sent you a PM, never used the guy personally but I know who has.
No worries, I'd rather trust their 20 years old stuff than the most recent...Sorry to MapisM, they are MAN’s
Last but not least, even if the surveyor suggested by PYB has indeed a good reputation, I'd rather pay the trip to someone from Belgium than use a local.
Mind, it's not a matter of competence. I would be more than happy to use an Italian surveyor to check a boat abroad.
The problem is that you never know who knows who, if you see what I mean.

Great looking boat Bart, timeless design in my opinion.
Thank you for this tip,
Have a good feeling about this person, a very experienced surveyer, he has some good references, and writes for magazines as you know:
http://www.nautica.it/info/maint/osmosi_e.htm
he’s completely independent !
Spoke french with him on the phone,
The personal contact couldn’t be better as his wife is Belgian,
So at least a little experience with “our” culture
Thanks again PYB !!
