In retrospect I think I was being a bit unkind. Princess have definitely upped their game recently with regard to apparent quality, finish and design. The new Princesses in the 60-70ft range I have looked at recently are right up there with the best in class so that is definitely one of Sherriff's achievements. As I said though the real test will come when the next downturn hits

Yep, agreed. To me, Sunny appear to be going in the other direction. I was very disappointed with the fit and finish of the 50-65 feet Sunny's at the recent Shows. The carpentry looks and feels very low rent, straight out of Ikea. Prinny and Fairline looked to me to be separating through a quality finish. I can't believe that spending £1 million plus on a boat would not leave you irritated with a poor interior finish.

Agree with that too. We looked at the Manhattan 66 at SIBS and apart from the fact that the SWMBO fell down the stairs to the cabins (for which she blamed Sunseeker's design obviously
) we both felt that the interior finish was not great, in fact not as good as Princess as you say. However, I havent really made a comparison but I think that these days, Princess list prices are quite a way ahead of Sunseeker so maybe the comparison isnt fair. Having said that, punters like us can never know what actual average selling prices are
