Princess AC Marine VHF Antenna

Hi,

Back with more questions for the experts ?.

Question-1

My Semrad VHF radio can be turned on just fine but not able to transmit nor recieve, i guess it is related to the broken antenna in the starboard of the boat, My question is if someone can identify the model number of the AC marine antenna in the picture because i couldn't identify it as it is faded out and the manufacturer booklet didn't specify the model number, i am trying to keep the same mounting of the antenna to avoid drilling any extra holes in the body. I have ordered two different types of antennas but the don't seem to match the require cable connector.

Question-2

My princess P45 seem to have 2 identical antennas in the starboard and port side, i am not sure what are they for, opne option can be the VHF Radio but what can the other antenna be used for?

I had similar problems with my Simrad radio - I had to send it back for repair. I can't remember the exact symptom but I think it was similar.

Question 2
The second antenna is for the commercial (entertainment) radio systems on the boat.
When our boat was new, I had one antenna kept for the VHF and the other was wired up to an AIS transducer.
I then had the commercial (entertainment) radio antenna hidden inside my empty satellite dome.

The only option the i have right now is to change the antenna and the mounting ?

Hi , ihave just replaced mine and it looks very similar it is a Glomex , you could try that.
