45 t at medium loadIf she's the Y72, she's 51 tonne!! She's a big girl.. Pictures can be deceiving but the midship cleat doesn't look particularly big on this vessel
Is that the dry weight ?....because once you add the Champagne....45 t at medium load
Unless I'm seeing something different from your good self but Princess quote the Y72 as 51,325kg..45 t at medium load
5t of champagne, just a weekender then.Is that the dry weight ?....because once you add the Champagne....
How dare you criticise quality French steel, my Renault went almost 18months rust free from new.So the moral of the story is buy a swift trawler. All the bolts will have rusted solid 6 months after construction and will never come loose
That is the newer Y72, this is the older model.Unless I'm seeing something different from your good self but Princess quote the Y72 as 51,325kg..
Even this is wrong, a loaded 67 is about 37 t medium load as quoted by Princess. 39 t loaded. Many hoists are not calibrated and carry part of the weight into that scaling. My P67 is between 43 and 45 tonnes when weighed in the travel hoist but she was built pre injection moulding days. I always say 50 tonnes if anyone asks.
You are splitting hairs. With a full load of fuel and water and then all my carp and tender etc. it could easily get to the 43/45 tonnes that I quoted above. And, yes, the travel hoist isn't the best method to weigh a boat. I believe that the hoist's winches have brakes so the load cells are only active when the hoist's winches are in motion - thats why I said something around 43/45 tonnes.Even this is wrong, a loaded 67 is about 37 t medium load as quoted by Princess. 39 t loaded.
