There was news about a P45 washed owerboard from a cargo ship outside the Norwegian coast some time ago

Despite sturdy construction there is nothing to stop total destruction when subjected to these forces. Luckily nobody was onboard and nobody was hurt physically.

Also when cruising in these kind of conditions close to the shore, having 2 engines really gives pease of mind.

Amazed that it was still afloat after being washed off the deck of a cargo ship, pity, a sad end for a nice boat that someone would have been excited about moving to new cruising grounds.
