Yeah, that's all you need, just to stop too much detritus entering the sump!
Then a quick tank clean a couple of times a year, only takes 5 mins.
Mind you, I will at some stage get around to fitting a simple high level alarm just to alert me if the pump or float switch fails. Never had issues on my P45, but remember once on my F43, the kids used the boat, we joined them after a week or so, only to find they were taking showers in the aft shower room and did not switch-on the waste pump on the panel
. Suffice to say, I had some clean bilges after that episode, they wondered why an intermittent alarm sounded every now and then when they showered (bilge pump)....!
