Princess 40 Flybridge hatch gas strut

I need to replace the flybridge hatch strut on our P40 but the label is illegible on the current strut.

I have contacted Princess parts but they don't hold out much hope for this part from a 1998 boat.

Would any P40 owner have time to check their strut and see if their is a legible make/part number please?
