Princess 35

Hi I am looking to buy a really nice Princess 35 any advice would be really appreciated Cheers

The P35 was the fore runner for all modern boat hulls, it's solid and dependable in nearly any weather. Only the bits added on will cause a problem, as with most boats.

It's not bothered about seas from behind, even F 7 or more. Beam seas, a bit rollercoaster, 20 knots but still in control. It's big bows makes it slow down in head seas, you cant win it all. Tam D 41 engines mostly. About bomb prouf but would have preffered cummins. It's so controlable, cant think any one could damage it much.

Carpets and upholstery dont cost much, we have a new carpet most years.

It's just the general look, a boat 20 years old will not be perfect.

I have worked on many P 35s and the volvo engines too, nearly bought one myself some years back, good solid boats, only thing wrong is there getting on and need linings unless they have been really looked after, the 41 series engine is good, the weak ling is the gearboxes unless they have been changed from the ms to hydraulic type.
