Are you sure that they are really 50hp and not the Ford Mermaid 80hp ?

One or two on this forum so you should get some useful feedback.

I was looking at one of these craft a couple of years ago. I contacted the Princess factory in Plymouth (I think I got a contact number from their web site) and spoke with someone who was very helpful and sent me copies of info they had in their files. Might be worth a try.

Good luck
David

hi nick.Have had one of these beasties for around a couple of years. My first proper heavy boat.Just a quick question,do you intend using the thing for estuary or coastal work at any point in the future. The engine option you mention will struggle to move all that weight against the tide with any suggestion of speed.
Can measure air draft if you need it this w/end.Click here for piccy.http://www.arweb.co.uk/aralbums/boaters/p400.jpg.you can use this site which is kindly hosted by Boatone of these forums to post smallish photos.
