Even with legs, lot of boat, spacious and ideal river boat with odd coastal trips and with diesel economy and availability.Might be problems sourcing engine spares and legs will need keeping an eye on but a the right price for DIY man ?

Looking at "other items sold by the same seller" on that listing, does anyone think they are designed for offshore use??

Virtually every one you see will be in quiet semi retirement mainly living above any tidal lock, general consensus being that they were bit narrow on the beam, which although making them a bit roly offshore,is ideal for squeezing into locks without the worries of jambing ? up with the boat alongside as you empty the chamber.
Engines did tend to be on the small side (80 HP),but loads of outside space for nice sunny day and probably happier chugging along a 5 knots.
Would consider to be ideal inland cruiser with plenty of diesel versions around which would make them affordable to people on a budget, well constructed to start with, purchasers just needing to check for the ravages of time and neglect rather than anything else.
Having said that there are now going to be posts about trips to the CIs etc.

That must have been one heck of a trip, wonder where that boat is now?

Last time I was there I didn't see any rivers!

Princess 33 still holding her own

Well I suppose someone had to pop up didn't they...?

We took our MP Princess 33 down the east coast from York via Hull twice last year. She has the original twin mermaid 80's and thoroughly enjoyed both trips to Wells Next The Sea.The last time we had 3 weeks there. Not exactly a World cruise I know but she never put a foot wrong. I picked the weather of course and never had more than a F4 to contend with. I wouldn't part with her for anything (well almost) and continue to enjoy restoring my investment to her former glory. She managed 13.6knts on the Humber on the return trip - but then again she did have a flood tide up her bottom. I will try and upload a pic of my pride and joy but I'm pretty useless on here so bear with me...

Have fun - Peter

First God instructed the Ark to be built, but observing that she had not got it quite right first time then went and built the Princess 33 and did the job properly.:)
