Princess 32 re engine question

Were the AQA31's known by another name as unlike most engines I cant find any information on them.

I found a brochure online for the Senior 31 and the layout in the brochure is almost exact to my boat so thanks guys I am now 99.9% that she is a Senior 31. Now just to find suitable engines for the 290 leg.

Thanks Baz

Without doubt it is an early Senior, the RLM used the same Senior mouldings but had a porthole under the bow, Princess made there own mouldings for the Project under licence from Senior.

Depending on the speed you want a pair of transit 2.5 engines work well.

I have 2 Ford transit turbo engines in my Stirling sabre 28 and it reaches speeds over 20 knots at high revs and drives are 2.15 reduction. Props are much bigger than what the petrol engines were swinging in fact they are 16x23 long hubs a reduced ratio would of been better but it,s all working well. Interesting post as I have just bought a Senoir 31 as well. Good luck
