Anyone had experience of "Primus" broadband. They currently have a seemingly very good offer for unlimited broadband with free weekend 'phone calls.
OTOH, some review comments are v. poor, but perhaps this is the disgruntled few, as with most providers I suppose.

It is cheap!

A mate looked at them late last year and decided against primarily because he's not very tech and just like TalkTalk used to be, they are unlikely to be able to respond to demand.

Possibly worth a go if you don't expect to have to ring them for tech or customer reasons. And I bet their billing and support systems are very immature.

Personally I would give it a year and see what the first OfCom report says and how other providers respond to them entering the market.

Well if i were you i would pose as a customer and call up to pretend to cancel. I have just tried to cancel a Plusnet contract and over 2 days have spent over an hour on hold. I gave up, cancelled the DD and sent a letter. Made a complaint to ofcom who dont care! In fact they make talktalk look good!
