We have decided to move up after 6 years of enjoying our current boat , at this time we feel that the best deal can be obtained avoiding the trade in situation and posts on the forum confirm this , so we are thinking of advertising at £87k for a 2003 S34 , would the knowledge of the forum say thats to cheap for a mint 03 boat.
Opinions welcome

Hi Cloud7

nobody appears to want to pay the asking price so you need to also consider what you will accept.

The other major factors are what grade of engines, navonics, what been recently serviced and other toys will be in the sale.

My qualification to answering this are quite simple I've just bought an S34 (via a broker) and have been looking for awhile

2005 model (built 2004) 200hp AD41's, C70 plotter, not quite mint, but good condition but very few non Sealine Extra's mainly just warps and fenders
Broker asking £99K ended up paying £95K including a full legs service.

So a list of £87K seems very fair
Hope that helps

S34

good luck with your new boat , we have owned ours for almost 6 years and found them a very good all rounder , we have radar, plotter, heating, snap davits, remote spot , teak,
holding tank, lcd and bose sound , bow thruster, tonneau cover in addition to full camper cover an full history from new , is it pitched to cheap @ £87k

I think you will generate interest is you put it up for say £95K, most of the boats from brokers for your vintage of boat are in the late 90's.

Good luck, I maybe back with 101 questions as I thirst for more S34 knowledge.

I would make her attractive, put her up for £89,950 and be prepared to take £87,500! At that price she should sell quickly
