I have this rope cutter which has 'stripper' and '2 1/4' stamped into it and it's obviously no use to me, so just trying to figure out if it's worth much. Any ideas ?
Obviously I know something is only worth what someone is willing to pay but some idea of value would be nice. Ta muchly

Well it looks mint.
If the bearing is ok it's worth a few bob.
two and a quarter is the size of shaft it fits ish.

If You will accept 50 drinking coupons its sold.
Well, it's a start!

Much as I would love to take you up on the offer young Krakasakee /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It's definately mint, never been fitted to anything and bearings seem fine, just got no idea what the thing is worth. Got it in loo of payment for a job I did. Even got the fixing bolts somewhere. Came from furrline old stock but no idea what boat it would fit either.
Too much time spent on the hankie tub maybe /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They're something like £1000+ each, new. You only have one, not a pair? BTW, I don't think they're much good but lots of folks swear by them. So quite ebay-able. State the shaft size. Stripper sell any missing bits individually

You got that wrong Roger /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Had a PM chat with Kawasaki last night before heading off to the boat, thicko here didn't have a clue /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
If Louise had known she would have flogged it ages ago /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Genuine enquiry guys, only one unfortunately but I'll use flea bay or I think Apollo Duck do this sort of thing
Thanks all
