It has the added benefit of making your windows gold from the outside so that they look like an astronaut's helmet visor.
They are actually roller type blinds so can be rolled up at night.
Not cheap though!
+1 for polarised glasses although if the windows are slightly de-laminated they can cause you to see a rainbow effect as if there was diesel on the window.
