Pressure cooker enquiry

We have never dealt with them. I saw the pressure cooker in the catalogue this morning and remembered that someone was looking for one but was in no way making any recommendation.
I guess you really need to get something of that nature that is a reputable make. We still use my mother's Prestige pressure cooker which must be around 50 years old and we can still get spares for it!

I realise you were doing as I quite often do - just passing on information and ideas.

I looked at it with a view of buying a smaller spare pressure cooker, but reading the url quotes I posted, I would be wary of dealing with them now. We use a Lidl pressure cooker at the moment, that is a bit bigger than the one in the paper.

I can recommend the Lidl pressure cooker (when next it is on offer), but has a bit of a struggle to seal itself on our Vanessa, even with new burners and a new regulator. No fault of either unit really.

I would have thought that they'd've had a website??

We have a Monix pressure cooker, stainless steel construction, great size for the boat and has provided faultless service. Cooked great bread mid-Atlantic!
