Prepping our boat for painting (steel hull) we usually use sugar soap to wash down prior to painting. Does anyone know of a Greek equivalent and where it can be purchased?
Sugar Soap is actually Trisodium phosphate (φωσφορικό νάτριο) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trisodium_phosphate
try asking in pharmacy if they don't have it they might be able to point you in the right direction or give the correct Greek name for it..
I'm betting Trisodium phospate is available under the name Trisodium phospate. So, to answer my own question.
Sugar soap is available in Greece under the name Trisodium phospate, ordered from the Pharmacy.
Ours arrived today on the Athens bus, five days after we ordered it at the same price we would expect to pay in the UK.
I'm pretty sure that's mostly washing soda with a bit of detergent added. Happy to be corrected.
Aware, and indifferent. You are aware the OP and who's post you have quoted hasn't been seen here for 7 years?
