It rained and then it rained considerably more.
Everyone was provided with power on the EA moorings, can also recommend the new moorings owned by Allington Castle. Beautiful secure quiet surroundings. Power/water and all for only £13.00 quid a night.
The castle moorings are behind a very substantial security gate. Key deposit £10.00.
Supposed to be 100% for annual moorers but no problem for short term stuff if you book in advance.
Hero of the hour was of course, lock keeper Tim, who stood in the freezing rain working to get everyone out in order to get under Aylesford bridge.
Can report that..... this year..... all aerials and masthead lights remained intact.
Did I mention it rained. ?
