Pre-Flight Covid Tests Changed

Having just ordered the on-line pre-departure tests, received routine email from Jet2 saying to check entry requirements. Test requirements have changed for Portugal and maybe elsewhere so, if heading back to boat, check first.

Please be aware that the Portuguese authorities aren’t currently accepting any “self-test” variety of COVID-19 tests, including any tests supervised by video and NHS tests. So you must make sure that your arrival COVID-19 test has been supervised in person by a medical professional and a certificate has been issued. If you arrive at your UK departure airport without proof of a negative COVID-19 test performed in person, you won’t be able to travel. Penalties from the Portuguese authorities may also apply if you arrive in destination without the correct form of test

On line testers such as Chronomics are still selling the tests as though still valid, they accepted our order a couple of days ago so will try for refund or chargeback.
